School facilities have undergone a major upgrade with the construction of new classrooms; a purpose built library and a muli-purpose hall, providing stimulating learning environments as well as modern performing arts and sporting facilities.
The school provides an inclusive, supported environment for special education students in two multi-categorical classes. Funding and planning support is received from both the National Partnership and Priority Schools programs, highly regarded student welfare policy based on effective discipline, Positive Behaviour for Learning, Virtues and student mentoring and leadership opportunities is in place.
The school has excellent resources across all Key learning Areas supported by a well resourced library. A feature is the specialised computer room as well as computers and interactive whiteboards in every classroom.
The school consistently delivers innovative school based programs and supports access to regional initiatives for gifted and talented students. Staff are encouraged to participate in programs that cater for different learning styles and foster student engagement.
Parental involvement is promoted and celebrated at all levels, in-class, P&C, forums and workshops.
