Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
“At Kandos Public School, we have a committed and caring team of staff. Our teachers provide high-quality explicit teaching every day to help each student reach their full potential. They create engaging, tailored learning experiences that both support and challenge students. As part of the Science of Learning Alliance (SoLA), our staff engage in ongoing professional development to deliver effective, differentiated explicit instruction in English and Mathematics.
Our students are respectful, responsible, and enthusiastic learners. We work closely with students, families, our active P&C, and the local community to enhance learning across all key subjects. Kandos Public School students participate in a range of events and sports outside of school, consistently showing talent and good sportsmanship. We are proud of our students’ ongoing commitment to excellence.”
Gillian Keough, Principal of Kandos Public School
